Our story begins in 1973 when my grandfather, Thurman Everitte, a retired Army veteran, and my grandmother, Ruth, who worked at a cotton mill, laid the foundation of our company in Fayetteville, NC. They brought their unwavering dedication and a shared vision of providing exceptional pest control services to our community.

Under the guidance of my father, Ottis Everitte, our business flourished, setting the stage for my own path in the industry. Growing up, I eagerly embraced the family business and gained valuable experience by running a pest control route during my high school years. These early experiences ignited my passion for the field and propelled me forward.

In my early 20s, armed with determination and knowledge, I obtained my license and embarked on expanding our services. Recognizing the growing demand in the Raleigh area, I, alongside my wife Kelly Everitte, and our invaluable 25-year employee, Patrick Jones, set out to establish AAA Exterminating of Raleigh. Joining our team, Chris Pate, a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience, and Patrick’s son, Ryan, further bolstered our capabilities.

Pest Control Is Who We Are

For me, the pest control business has never been just a job. As a child, I remember sitting at my grandma’s kitchen table, watching her talk to customers like they were her best friends. At the age of seven, I would often ride along with my Grandpa or my dad on their routes–sometimes even helping to do some of the work. My Dad and grandparents are gone now, but through this business, I still have a connection with them. For my team and I, pest control is not just what we do. It is who we are.

Our Future Is Bright

Conquering the challenges of expanding to Raleigh wasn’t a walk in the park. But now, as an established part of the community, we’re thrilled to fuel its growth. With our children’s involvement in the business on the horizon, and the addition of Patrick’s son Ryan in Raleigh, along with industry veteran Kenny Morkrid and his son Kyle in Fayetteville, we’re passionate about paving the way for the next generation in pest control.
