V.A. Termite Inspections in North Carolina

VA termite inspection, WDI report
We get asked about V.A. termite inspections all the time. Since our home office is located in Fayetteville, N.C. this is probably no surprise. Fayetteville is adjacent to Ft. Bragg so the majority of reports we issue are for VA loans. So I thought I would put this post up to help someone out if they were looking for info regarding the termite inspection they need before buying a home, with VA financing.

  1. This may be a surprise to you but when it comes to termite inspections on homes being purchased in North Carolina, it makes no diference at all who is financing it.
  2. There is only one form that can legally be used in the state of North Carolina to report findings from a wood destroying insect inspection. The form is called the Official North Carolina Wood-Destroying Insect Information Report (WDIR-100)
  3. The rules on how we conduct inspections and report findings  are strictly enforced by the N.C. Dept of Agriculture (Structural pest control division)

So you don’t have to worry about finding a special report or form for your VA loan simply because it is for the VA. Just find a reputable pest control company that offers WDI Reports and you will be fine. AAA Exterminating Co. has specialized in these inspections for years, so if you have any questing feel free to contact us at anytime.
